2.The American colonies had to retreat because all of their men had been killed or were about to die.

3.Just before this battle Washginton and his troops had just escaped for Sullivan Island.

4.Heavy rain affected it because it was all muddy and they couldn’t see their people and the enemies.

5.George Washginton and his troops watched almost every move the British made, to make sure they knew if they were going have to fight.

Outcome: The British forces beat the American Colonies.
