Eileen Meslar plays for Team USA

June 2017 - The 2017 Women's USA Ball Hockey team has a familiar face. Not only is Eileen on the 2017 team, she also played on the 2015 team. Meslar has earned her place in history as being on the first USA team to play for the ISBHF Championship. Click here for the full story.

Stephanie Seweryn Makes 'em Laugh at Alma Maters

In April 2017, Stephanie Seweryn (class of 2003) came back to the neighborhood to tickle the funny bones of the Southsiders. Appearing with Pat McGann, Ana Belaval and John DaCosse, Seweryn hit the stage to help raise funds for her High School alma mater. Seweryn also hit the stage at OLOR in 2015 to help raise fund her for grade school alma mater. Can't wait to see where we'll find her next!

Bryana Martinez Headed to the Grammy's

November 2017 - As the lead violinist for Mariachi Herencia de Mexico, Bryana Martinez (Class of 2016) has been playing the violin since she was 4 years old. The group celebrates as they were nominated for a Latin Grammy for Best Mariachi Album. Mariachi Herencia de Mexico is made up of young people from around the south side. They are the only young person group nominated in this category typically filled with adults.
