Admission Guidelines

Our Lady of the Ridge offers a quality Catholic education for children from Pre-K through 8th grade. A child must be four (4) years old on or before September 1 to enroll in Pre-K. In accordance with the current State of Illinois age requirements for students, a child entering kindergarten must be five (5) years of age on or before September 1 of the year of enrollment. All new students are required to have a valid birth certificate and baptismal certificate.

As a Catholic elementary school, Our Lady of the Ridge is primarily concerned with passing on the teachings and traditions of the Catholic faith. Religious education is central to the school's atmosphere and curriculum. All students participate in religion class and in religious practices associated with the Catholic faith.

At Our Lady of the Ridge, we practice stewardship as a way of life. We strongly encourage all school families to respond by joyfully offering God their time, talent and treasure.
