Stewardship

Stewardship

"Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms." 1 Peter 4:10

Our Lady of the Ridge Parish School receives its mission and purpose as a ministry of the parish. Parishioners are asked to adopt a stewardship way of life - an attitude of gratitude to God for life's many blessings.

A parishioner is defined as a Catholic who is a registered member of Our Lady of the Ridge Parish, who understands and accepts stewardship as a way of life. This means putting Jesus first in our lives. This is accomplished by attending Sunday Mass weekly and striving to tithe 8% of time (prayer), talent (volunteering), and treasure (total gross household income) to the parish. It is understood that since all parishioners' individual circumstances are different, the level of stewardship participation will be different. The choices indicated on both the stewardship renewal commitment card and the parish school tuition covenant will be monitored for compliance.

Parents/guardians will be required to attend at least one mandatory stewardship meeting each year.
