Martin Luther King Jr. Elementary School has started projects to resurface the parking lot and playground. These improvements will provide better parking options for parents, visitors, and faculty, while also creating a safer environment for students to play. Enhancements include improved site drainage and easier access. A new basketball court has been added, along with an additional play area, allowing students to stay safe and out of the parking lot. The parking lot has been fenced off to create a separate area from the playground.
