Mark Twain Elementary School recently celebrated the opening of a new half-court basketball facility, made possible through a partnership between Devon Energy, the Oklahoma City Thunder, and the 2022 Bond initiative. The celebration featured STEM-based basketball drills led by coaches from Thunder Youth Basketball, combining physical activity with educational enrichment. In addition to the new basketball court, the project also includes upgrades to the existing west parking lot of the school. These enhancements demonstrate a ongoing commitment to improving recreational facilities for both students and the surrounding community.
