The OKCPS Health Careers Program offers high school students a hands-on introduction to various health science careers. Students will gain the skills and experiences needed to obtain a Certified Nursing Assistant certification and other industry-recognized credentials. Additionally, students will have the opportunity to extend their training in practical nursing or pursue other health fields in college or career tech programs.

Construction Trades

This program equips students with the skills to thrive in the construction industry! Through both classroom and on-site learning environments, students explore a variety of trades relevant to major construction projects. With hands-on experience and key lessons in safety, construction math, blueprint reading, carpentry, electrical work, plumbing, HVAC, and project management, students earn industry credentials and prepare for career tech programs, college, or the workforce.

The Aviation program is a four-year journey into aviation and aerospace! With two exciting STEM pathways—Pilot and Unmanned Aircraft Systems (drones)—students build critical skills in science, technology, engineering, and math. Participation in this program opens up a world of opportunities for students, preparing them for a wide range of exciting careers in the aviation and aerospace industry. Whether their interests lie in piloting, drone operation, or other aerospace professions, this program lays the groundwork for their success.

This comprehensive program immerses students in the fascinating world of biotechnology, providing them with a strong foundation in hands-on lab skills and critical thinking tools. Film

In partnership with Oklahoma City Community College, Metro Tech, and Scissortail Studios, the OKCPS Film Production Program offers high school students the chance to earn industry certifications and gain hands-on experience. Students will learn film theory, scriptwriting, cinematography, directing, editing, production design, sound production, and project management. This program prepares students for further education in Digital Cinema Production, industry internships, or careers in the film industry.

The Agriscience program provides students with a foundational understanding of agricultural science, focusing specifically on horticultural practices. E-Sports

The OKCPS Esports Program provides high school students with the opportunity to develop skills in competitive gaming and esports management. Through a combination of gameplay, strategy development, and team collaboration, students will learn about the esports industry, including game analysis, tournament organization, and digital citizenship. The program emphasizes teamwork, communication, and critical thinking, preparing students for further education or careers in the growing field of esports.

JROTC

JROTC is a high school program sponsored by the U.S. Armed Forces that develops citizenship, leadership, and personal responsibility in students. While it is based on military structure, the main goal is character development for a student's future in careers and education. Students learn skills such as self-discipline, communication, and teamwork, and are taught about civic duty and American history.
