Volunteering has a positive effect on your community, and it's good for you too. For example, it can help you learn more about yourself and even put you on a path to your future career. Volunteering can help you gain valuable life experience and skills, meet interesting new people, earn academic credit, show colleges that you are committed, and make a difference in your community. Below you can check out just a few of the many different ways you can volunteer in your community. Check the bulletin for current volunteer opportunities or visit the CCC.
