The WMEA (Washington Music Educators Association) Regional Solo and Ensemble Contest is a performance-based event in which student musicians present prepared solos or small-ensemble pieces for evaluation by experienced adjudicators. This competition offers invaluable opportunities for students to gain performance experience, receive constructive feedback, and refine their musicianship. Outstanding performers may advance to the State Solo and Ensemble Contest, representing their school and region at a higher level.Â
