The OHHS Marching Band is at the heart of Wildcat pride, blending musical excellence with school spirit every fall. Starting with band camp in August and continuing with twice-weekly rehearsals during the season, the marching band prepares a brand-new halftime show each year, performed at all home football games and showcased at competitions across the Pacific Northwest.
Marching Band challenges students to grow as performers while also building a strong sense of teamwork and community. Every rehearsal and performance combines music, movement, and visual design into an exciting production that thrills audiences and creates lasting memories for the students involved.
Our ensemble is more than a competitive performance group—it’s a family. Students form friendships that last beyond high school, learn the value of discipline and leadership, and contribute to traditions that energize our school and community. From the roar of the crowd on Friday nights to the excitement of competition days, the Marching Band is one of the most rewarding experiences OHHS has to offer.
Performance Excellence: Take part in high-energy shows that combine music and visual artistry.
Competition & Recognition: Represent OHHS with pride at festivals and competitions across the region.
School & Community Spirit: Be the soundtrack of Friday nights and a centerpiece of Oak Harbor pride.
Friendship & Growth: Build lifelong connections while learning discipline, leadership, and teamwork.
The OHHS Marching Band is where passion meets performance, competition meets community, and every student has the chance to be part of something bigger than themselves.
