Coordinator's Message
Throughout my tenure as a member of the Ogden High and IB community, I have developed a profound appreciation for the International Baccalaureate (IB) program and its underlying mission. As IB educators, our objective is to cultivate inquiring, knowledgeable, and compassionate young individuals who foster a more harmonious and peaceful world through intercultural empathy and esteem. In the midst of growing national and international strife, the significance and pertinence of this mission are heightened. Each lesson, text, and assessment within the IB curriculum is tailored to instill this mission in our students. The IB Learner Profile necessitates that our students possess not only a thirst for knowledge and curiosity but also a capacity for empathy and open-mindedness. I am deeply fond of the International Baccalaureate program as it inspires students to realize their full potential. It is a privilege to be a part of this transformative educational journey.
IB Faculty
IB teachers work hard to provide a challenging academic environment that encourages critical thinking, collaborative learning and student led inquiry. They are masters of their craft and passionate about their content. Many of our teachers have graduate degrees, endorsements in ESL and Educational Technology, and are respected members of their creative communities. They are the heart and the key to the success of the IB Program at Ogden High.
