The 5th annual College and Career Fair was a huge success, thank you to all the students, parents, and staff that came out. This year we had over 120 students and families attend and meet with college representatives, professionals in the community, and get more information about alternative pathways after graduation. Due to a high interest in the medical field we put together a panel of medical professionals to talk with the students in 2 different break-out sessions. During both break out sessions, there was standing room only! Students were able to ask questions and learned about the education it takes to be in different medical positions, what a typical day looks like , and why these professionals chose their career. We heard from a phlebotomist, a nuclear medicine technologist, a fire chief, a medical assistant/MTI program director, and an ICU Trauma Respiratory Therapist.
