C.R.E.W.

College Readiness Explore the World (CREW)

The overarching goal is to help second semester 11th and 12th graders through the application process for colleges/universities as a cohort.

  • A Pathways representative runs the 2 hour cohort session once a month.
  • Sessions vary in topics each month. Topics include applying to college together, Financial Aid with a professional, Standardized Tests sign-ups and prep, college fit, Major research and presentation etc..
  • Possible Scholarship opportunities for students who complete the program and attend partnering schools (CSU Channel Island, San Marcos, Sonoma and all community colleges) Scholarships are $2k (CC) and $25k (partnership schools).
  • We want to make sure ALL of our students can ACCESS the information/help/scholarships.
  • If a student received a scholarship CREW mentors continue to check in with them during their college years.

C.R.E.W. Signups begin in the Spring Semester.
