Senior Year 

College Planning 

Fall:

• Complete your FAFSA or DREAM ACT application 

• School Counselors submit your GPAs to the Cal Grant Program.  You must complete your financial aid forms in order to be eligible for Cal Grant money

• UC and CSU applications are due 

• Complete any work in core courses:

  • English 

  • Math

  • Foreign Language

  • Social Studies 

Spring:

• Financial Aid application deadlines: March 2nd

• Intent to Register for college: May 

• Continue to work in, and finish semester courses 

• Apply for Scholarships 

• Graduate!

Graduation Requirements: 

1. Complete all required credits and 10 hours of Community Service by the grad deadline (check with your teacher for exact date)

2. Complete the Graduation Exit Survey

3. Attend Senior Wrap Up: 

   • Order your free cap and gown  

   • Take a free 8x10 grad photo

   • Contribute to the Grad Video (recommended) 

   • Audition to be a speaker at Graduation (ask your teacher for more information) 

   • Meet with your School Counselor 

   • BYBIM 

Graduation Requirements, Con't:

4. Attend Senior Breakfast with 1 guest: 

• • Enjoy breakfast with your fellow graduates 

  • Awards Ceremony

  • Pick up your tickets, cap and gown for graduation 

  • Get all the information about your upcoming Graduation Ceremony!
