Building the School

Orleans Elementary School has changed over time by adding new things to the building and changing the purposes of different parts of the school. Orleans Elementary School was originally a high school built in 1922, but it changed to an elementary school in 1968. After Orleans High School became Orleans Elementary School the high school students in Orleans started going to Lake Region Union High School in Barton. The school used to be one big cube shape, but in 1991 they built an addition on the west side of the building, which is now where the gym is located. In conclusion, Orleans Elementary School has changed very much over time.

Before the Gym

The Gym

The gym was added on to the school in 1991. The gym is where P.E. and sporting events are held.

Other Schools

These are the other schools that have been in the village of Orleans. There have been many elementary schools over the years.
