Over time, Austin’s Drugstore has changed because the name has changed and so has the building. For example, in 1892 the building that would later become Austin’s Drugstore was built. Another change happened in 1905 when the ownership and the named changed. This was when Arthur Austin purchased it from the Websters and the name changed from Webster’s Drugstore to Austin’s Drugstore. Although he had bought the building, Arthur did not receive his Rexall agency until 1907. Much later, in 2016, the building that Austin’s Drugstore was in was torn down because they couldn’t make enough revenue to pay the bills. This is how Austin’s Drugstore has changed over time.
Both of Arthur Austin's sons owned the building and business at some point in time.
Eventually, when they couldn't pay the bills, closer they had to make the decision to demolish the building and sell the space.

Arthur Austin received the building, which belonged to Mr. Webster, in 1905. He did not received his Rexall agency until 1907.
Arthur Austin worked at the drugstore when it belonged to Mr.Webster. During this time he really got to know his customers. He even kept a book of their birthdays.
At Austin's they sold not only pharmaceutical items, but other things like cards, beach toys, and candy as well. The main attraction was their soda fountain!
