The Pre-Employment Career Training Program (PECT) provides work experience, vocational training, and career planning for high school age students in special education.
The PECT coordinator works directly with the student to locate jobs inside, or outside of the school for job experience. Students receive credit and a grade for their participation in the PECT program. Students will typically have several different vocational experiences during their junior and senior high school years.
