50/50 Bilingual Program

The OCDSB offers a two-year, full-day, 50/50 bilingual kindergarten program. This means that children will experience the program equally in French and in English, providing exposure to both of Canada's official languages. Guided by the Ontario Kindergarten curriculum document, English and French educators provide opportunities for each child to grow their speaking and listening skills in both languages through song, play, and supported conversations.
