Assignment 5.1 Podcast Play List
Got to http://www.cbc.ca/radio/podcastplaylist to find and listen to a podcast that interests you and answer the following questions in a google doc
Include in your document:
- A header with your name
- A footer with the page count and number
- Page margins of .5 inches left and right, .75 inches top and bottom
- Arial font size 12
- document name: lastname_firstname.5.1.pdf

- What is a podcast and what can it be about?
- What is the overall theme of the show Podcast Playlist?
- Who are the main voices of podcast playlist?
- What is the title of the Episode you listened to?
- How long was the episode you listened to?
- Write 1-2 paragraphs that summarizes the episode you listens to.
- Out of the clips that make up each episode of podcast playlist which one did you find was really well done? Why?
- Out of the clips that make up each episode of podcast playlist which one did you find was not well done? Why?

Assignment 5.2 Pod Cast
You are going to chose a current event in the news and create a podcast focused around it
Each podcast needs an opening jingle and introduction as well as a closing with verbal credits/thanks
The body of your podcast should have an introduction where you introduce the topic and facts, a middle where you discuss/give your opinion on the topic and facts and conclusion that summarizes your Idea
Podcast will be don in groups of 2-3people with everyone participating in the written portion as well as the verbal portion
3-4 minutes for 2 people
5-6 minutes for 3 people
Before recording can start you must research your topic, recording the information you find. When you have compiled all the facts you must produce a script that you will follow in the recording booth.
