Remembrance

This November, we marked Remembrance with a two minute silence and a small ceremony in the Piazza to commemorate the sacrifice made by others in past conflicts. Year 9 have been continuing to study World War One this term; looking at the experience of the soldiers in the trenches, including the service and sacrifice made by soldiers fighting for the British army from across the world. Year 9 students reflected on the sacrifice made in various conflicts with some beautifully produced poppies containing messages of remembrance.
