Literacy tasks

You have literacy tasks that need to be completed over the course of the school year. There is no set order to complete these.

Task 1

Using 5 keywords, write a paragraph describing what Geography means to you and explaining why it is important

Task 2

Using the keywords from a topic you have studied, create a word search that can be completed by someone in year 8.

Task 3

There are many important events happening that relate to Geography in some way. Summarise a news story about something that has been covered in Geography. You will need to research the event to find all of the important information, which you can use along with what you have learned in class time.
