This week we are honored to have senior Grace Lundy as our student spotlight of the week. We were given the opportunity to interview Ms.Lundy on 12/3/25. She’s a magnificent student and person. She partakes in varsity cheer, varsity track and varsity girls basketball where she plays as a guard. She is very proud to be an all American cheerleader where she is invited to cheer in the Macy’s Day Parade in New York. She also excels at her school work, taking college credit plus classes since 10th grade, getting her ready for college and her goal in becoming a speech therapist where she will be working hard to help people with disabilities, working with them to get better at speaking with others. She goes to church at Union Free Will Baptist where she helps those around her in the congregation, always having a positive attitude and a smiling face that brings joy to all those around her. On top of everything she does for school, sports and her community, she also finds the time to work hard at her job at Dairy Queen, working up to 15 hours a week, proving just how reasonable she is with her time. For these reasons, we at Oak Notes are honored to have Grace Lundy as our student spotlight of the week. We are so proud of her and what she has accomplished and very excited to see what the future holds for her outside these walls.
Oak Hill High/Middle School is proud to have senior Grant Lambert as this week's student spotlight. He was accepted into the Ohio State Honors Band. He was also in honors choir for four years now, where he exceeded expectations with his vocal abilities being able to sing low bass to high soprano. Grant also plays for the Rio Grande marching band, pep band, and symphonic band. He also is in a group piece for the Eisteddfod competition. But he's not just in school activities; he also helps with his community, helping with church activities like Operation Christmas Child.
