Introduction to 3D Modeling

Tinkercad is a group of tools that you can use for free to do 3D Modeling, construct circuits including Arduinos.

For 3D modeling it does not have as many tools as Blender or Fusion 360 however can be much faster to make prototypes.

Sign into Tinkercad

Sign in using Google

Use 3D Design tools

To get it ready for 3D printing

Export your project from Tinkercad

Export it as a .obj or .stl file

Open up the file location and extract it

Place the file into:

P:\Digital Technologies\00. Student Work\9DGT 3D Printing

in the file name include your name, teacher and name of project:

i.e yourname_teachercode_character_3dprinting.obj
