For general inquiries on the day-to-day happenings of Lafayette, email lafayette.hall@nyu.edu. Normal business hours for Lafayette Hall professional staff are Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm. Responses to emails sent after late Friday afternoon will be reviewed on Monday. When emailing staff regarding matters with your room, please also include your room number & letter (eg: 101A).
While the Lafayette Hall handles all day-to-day operations related to your stay in Lafayette, any matters pertaining to your room reservation/booking, room change requests, cancellations, payments and billing should be handled through our central office of Residential Life and Housing Services: housing@nyu.edu or 212.998.4600. There are also 15 Summer Assistants (SAs) and 1 Summer Assitant - Operations (SAO) living in hall. They will work at the Resource Center, and for any happenings outside of the normal business hours, one SA will be on call at all times. To reach them, residents may call CampusSafety at (212) 998-2222, or report to the Campus Safety Desk in the lobby for any after-hours concerns, or report concerns directly to the Resource Center during normal operating hours,
