If you plan to return to campus take these steps:
- Get a COVID-19 test (testing locations listed below)
- Submit your test results for NYU building clearance
- Wait for confirmation of clearance
- Once you are cleared follow the daily screener protocol (video above) every day you plan to go to campus! Link to web-based daily screener here

Testing Sites in the Tri-State Area
- NYC DOH COVID testing site (can search by any address or state/county/zip code, including areas outside of NY)
- New York State search page
- New Jersey search page
- Connecticut testing done by CVS MinuteClinic
- Testing at Rite-Aid in NY and NJ (note that Rite-Aid does not have an NYC testing center)
Testing Sites at NYU
Testing is available on-campus at Gould Plaza and 6 MetroTech Center. Appointment availability is updated continually. Please check back if your desired testing date is not available yet.
- Schedule Your Appointment
- Use the exact same last name and preferred name that is listed in Albert.
- Enter your student ID number (N number) including the N (ex: N12345678).

Who/ When
- Students whose Net ID begins with K- Z should pick up and return your test the week of September 14 - 18, and every other week thereafter.
- The next time you need to submit a test is Sept. 28th - Oct. 2nd
- Students whose Net ID begins with A - J should pick up and return your test the week of September 21 - 25, and every other week thereafter.
- The next time you need to submit a test is Oct. 5th - Oct. 9th

For updated pick-up/drop-off locations view this link before planning your pick-up and drop-off.
The pick-up/drop-off locations will be open Monday - Friday, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Tests should be returned on the same day that you activate your kit and produce your saliva sample.
