One of the most common financial aid holds is Enrollment Mismatch. An Enrollment Mismatch occurs when the number of credits that you are currently registered for is not equal to or greater than the number of credits that your financial aid award is based on. You must be registered for the minimum number of credits we anticipated on your financial aid award for your aid to both be credited as anticipated aid and disburse to your e-Bill. This prevents you from receiving aid that you may not be eligible for based on your enrollment.
If you have this hold on your account, you will be able to see it in the Holds section of your Albert Student Center.
To remove the enrollment mismatch hold:
Refer here for more information on how to remove this hold yourself.
If that does not work, contact the Office of Financial Aid at financial.aid@nyu.edu
You can always make an appointment with StudentLink to address this issue if the two steps above do not work.
