ZOOM – Student Webinar Etiquette
When entering the summit call, label your name in this format “Full Name_School” to facilitate the admission process.
As this is a formal event, please be in your school uniform or school-based t-shirt before entering the Zoom webinar.
Log into the webinar from a distraction-free, quiet environment for a more optimal webinar experience. Inform family members or others around you that you are having a live session, so as to not be disturbed.
Turn on your camera during registration so we can identify you for security reasons. During the summit you are encouraged to turn on your camera throughout the workshop sessions.
Be mindful of your environment as it will be shown on camera. For virtual backgrounds, please use only plain, solid backgrounds.
Please mute your audio to limit the background noise. If you would like to ask a question or make a comment, please use the “raise hand” function and wait for the speaker or facilitator to call on you to unmute yourself.
In the unlikely event that there is an intruder in the meeting room, please stay calm and leave the meeting room as soon as possible, the organisers will end the meeting immediately. Please await further instructions from the organisers or teachers.
Please do not use profanities or inappropriate language.
Remember to sign out or leave the meeting when the session is finished.
