NYFA recognizes the value of continued professional development at all stages of one's career. The Center for Excellence in Teaching & Learning offers and hosts different formats of PD, including presentations, workshops, demonstrations, panel discussions, and guest speaker Q&As. 

Past workshops have included:

• Google Classroom

• Prompt writing and rubric design

• DEI connection to the classroom and curriculum

• Social media

• The impactful role of the intimacy coordinator

Faculty are also encouraged to share their expertise with the NYFA community by running workshops through the CETL Office. Interested instructors will be supported throughout the process with developing the concept (if necessary), formatting the marketing request, and organizing supportive resources. There is a wealth of community knowledge and experience to celebrate, so we encourage faculty members to consider participating!
