One of the new age questions is whether Netflix or Cable is superior. There are many reasons that someone would favor one or another. For example, Netflix has a much bigger quantity even though people don't get shows on a weekly basis. Netflix is also cheaper and has no ads.
One might argue that cable is better because people get shows on a weekly basis and they don't have to wait months at a time to get new episodes of their favorite shows. This is a good point, but customers also get larger quantities of shows. In 2016 Netflix had 4,335 movies and 1,197 tv shows offering multiple seasons. While some cable shows only have as many 200 channels each having about 30 shows with only one season and offering little to no movies.
Another reason that Netflix is superior to cable is that it is much cheaper than Cox or another type of cable. The most expensive type of Netflix costs $13.99 a month with many more options including Ultra HD viewing and simultaneous watching. While the least expensive type of cox package costs $25 a month with over 75 channels. This is a big difference one offering bigger quality and quantity with the other offering higher prices.
One reason that Netflix is better is that there are no ads. In 2013, people watched 14 minutes and 15 seconds worth of ads on a T.V. show. And the number of ads have grown ever since. Due to a poll of Bob Miller Students that was done in 2019 by Cecily Boyle, the top reason why people prefer Netflix to cable is that there are no ads on Netflix. Based off averages from Joe Flint from the Los Angeles Times. One out of four minutes of tv is ads.
Netflix or cable? It’s a debate that has been going around as of late. Cable might be superior in some minds because you don't have to wait, but the prices are much higher. Netflix is superior in many ways including that it has a larger quantity though you don't get shows right away, it is much cheaper, and does not have ads.

As you stand in the line of The Incredicoaster in California Adventure, you can’t wait to get on the ride and let the wind blow through your hair. California Adventure is better than Disneyland for different reasons. The first reason California Adventure is superior to Disneyland is because it is less expensive and worth your money. Also, California Adventure is a nicer option for older kids than Disneyland is.
Although many people say that Disneyland is better because it is more traditional and is claimed as “the happiest place on earth”, California Adventure is one step ahead because it has more nighttime attractions. According to the Disneyland website, California Adventure has more nighttime shows than Disneyland all over the park like Pixarmonic Orchestra, World of Color, and Frozen - Live at the Hyperion. People love to watch the fireworks in Disneyland, but before and during the fireworks in Disneyland, all of Fantasyland, Toontown, the monorail, and many rides in Tomorrowland are completely closed down. This could be an inconvenience, but in California Adventure, you do not have to worry about this because the rides stay open the whole time the park is open!
Another reason that California Adventure is preferable to Disneyland is that their prices are lower. For example, the Disneyland website states that a one day-adult ticket for California Adventure is only $95-$119 while and the same kind of Disneyland ticket is $105 to $150.
This shows that the prices for California Adventure are better and you can enjoy new and improved themed areas such as Pixar Pier and Cars Land in this park. Pixar Pier has new and debuting rides like Incredicoaster, Pixar Pal-A-Round, Jessie’s Critter Carousel, and The Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind. In addition, Cars Land isn’t as new, but still has thrilling rides like Radiator Springs Racer, Mater's Junkyard Jamboree, and meet and greets with many Cars characters.
Finally, California Adventure has more age appropriate rides for teenagers. In particular, in Disneyland, about ⅕ of the rides have age restrictions, while in California Adventure, almost all of the rides have age restrictions. Also, there are more Disney themed rides in Disneyland that will appeal to younger kids easier, while some of the other themes in California Adventure will be more intriguing to teenagers.
In conclusion, California Adventure is the best option over Disneyland because although disneyland is more traditional, California Adventure has more nighttime attractions, lower prices, and is more age appropriate for teenagers.
