Bully Free Zone

SAFEVOICE

Students, parents and faculty throughout Nevada now have access to SafeVoice, an anonymous reporting system used to report threats to the safety or well-being of students. SafeVoice was established by the Nevada Department of Education under SB 212 in 2017 to protect student wellness, prevent violence and save lives.

We pride ourselves on providing a safe and comfortable environment for all students and staff. All students should be able to attend school in an atmosphere of security and dignity and are not required to endure insulting, degrading, harassing, or exploitative treatment. Harassment of a student or an employee, including sexual harassment, will not be tolerated.

If your child is having an issue with bullying at school, you can click on the link below and report a bully. Please give as many details as possible and be specific. Please also encourage your child to go to the counselor’s office to discuss options for dealing with bullying issues.

CYBERBULLYING

Students in middle school are vulnerable to becoming a bully or being a victim of a bully. Irwin and Susan Molasky Junior High School is committed to providing a safe environment for all of our students. Bullying, cyberbullying, harassment, and/or intimidation are prohibited in public schools. We would like to offer our parents some bully prevention information. This information can assist in keeping the lines of communication open between parents, students, and the school.

Please encourage your child to visit their grade level counselor’s office to discuss options for dealing with bullying issues.
