Slow Shutter Speed
This assignment was very difficult, I thought it would be better than everything turned out. It's really hard to keep a camera still on the side walk and to capture moving cars. But it was also exciting because we got to go out at night and see how fast lights really move on cars. I had a lot of fun but it was very stressful.
This is my favorite picture of this assignment, I set up the dominoes and tried to time it just right. I wish the color of the dominoes would stand out more but for that to happen i would have to have been in a darker place. I like the repetition of the dominoes, but they kept falling down and then knocking the rest down..
This is another one of my favorites because you see a McDonald's on every corner but these colors stand out and they keep the camera focused on something so that the background doesn't come out blurry. It was super cold outside but its was definitely worth it because I got some great pictures. It was really cold and standing to take this picture was kind of difficult because we had to wait for enough cars to pas to get a good balanced picture.
Last but not least, connect four. This was probably also one of the hardest to get because there is so little time between when the chips fall and me having to push the button on my camera. I wish the setting was darker to help the bright yellow and red colored chips stand out more!
