Informal Portraiture

This assignment was one of my favorites because we got to focus on one person. I love taking pictures of people so taking these were fun because it helped me learn how to adjust myself taking the picture. It didn't take very long but the only problem was the sun was to bright sometimes.

This is one of my favorite pictures because the colors of her outfit kind of match the background. The straight lines in the background give the picture a nice balance.

This is also another favorite of mine. The grey railing and the stairs match her outfit again but the blue jeans give the picture a little color. The copper building in the background gives the picture a pop of color while also kind of matching her hair.

Last but not least, probably top favorite picture because the balance of color really gives the picture a nice look. Taylor's black pants make the other colors stand out. The nice balance between the sleeve of her arm and the similar colored trees are really cool. The background also follows the rule of thirds because the straight lines on the building and the perfectly straight tree in the right side of the picture.
