The military leadership major was designed for students who are looking to take on a leadership role in some type of military application. Students who declare this major will learn about personal qualities that will make them leaders in their community and in the military. Students will explore the history of warfare dating back thousands of years to modern times. Students will study the development and structure of each branch of the US military, as well as understand their place in both the local and global community. Upon exit, students will be prepared for college level coursework typically encountered when attending the military service academies. Students will be challenged by coursework, a 60 hour internship in their chosen major, and thesis they will present before students, faculty, and advisory board members.
