UNLV is currently launching their Huellas Mentorship Program for the 2025-2026 school year.
The Huellas Mentorship Program is an award-winning and nationally-recognized program that pairs a high school student with an undergraduate student, a law student, and a practicing attorney or judge to create a pipeline to law school for traditionally underrepresented students, such as first-generation students and students of low socio-economic status. Mentees gain invaluable experience and unique opportunities including hands-on experiences in a courtroom or law firm, college preparatory advice, and scholarships! We are especially interested in targeting Juniors and Seniors of diverse backgrounds for this unique opportunity. While the Latino Law Student Association operates the Huellas Mentorship Program, the program is not exclusive to Latino or Hispanic students.
The application is NOW OPEN and closes September 20th at 11:59 p.m. An orientation will be scheduled for interested students in the coming weeks. If you are interested, we would be happy to provide you with the Zoom link so that students, regardless of location, can attend.
