Plasterer - Using tools of the trade, a Plasterer may apply plaster, veneers, acrylic finishes, stucco, fireproofing or other polymer-based or cementitious products to walls, beams, columns, or panels. 

Cement Mason - Using tools of the trade, a Cement Mason may form, smooth, and finish freshly placed concrete or cementitious products; make repairs to existing concrete surfaces; may also color, stain, sandblast, stamp, expose, and seal concrete or cementitious products.

Hiring sign spinners to work five hour shifts on the weekends while students are in school. FT / PT hours available during the summer. Must be 16 and over. $10 / hour and $11 / hr with a car and valid drivers license. Positions are being filled for the Las Vegas and Henderson area.

Even elementary-aged students can enroll in magnet schools and career and technical academies. All of these opportunities help prepare students in Nevada for careers in top-employing industries, like tourism and construction.

Nevada Help Desk

Nevada Help Desk is offering technology-based training programs for high school students to earn industry-recognized certifications!  Students are trained in digital marketing technologies such as web development, search engine optimization, search engine marketing, social media, campaign marketing, content automation, e-commerce marketing, and more!  In addition to technology, students are trained in employability skills, business administration, communication, keyboarding, organization, and portfolio development.


Students can apply for several cohorts that run through November 2021
