Administrators connect new teachers with a site-based mentor to support them with everything from school policies and practices, classroom management strategies, content, social-emotional support, and navigation with the ups and downs of a new teacher.

We like to think of our site-based mentor like marigolds. Marigolds are well-known in the plant world to be one of the best companion plants, protecting other plants around them from harmful pests and weeds.
