Think of a good 3 mile goal and 5k goal time. We will run 3 miles and 5k's both at different points this year. A 5k is about 160 meters longer than 3 miles.
Your goals should be yours. Set small achievable goals and a super goal. This gives you something to work towards. Keep pushing the limits and believe you can do it. Strong positive mindsets produce strong positive results.
Know what it takes to reach your goal. Look up the 400 meter pace next to your goal time. We will be running 2x400 tomorrow. You need to know what this pace feels like so you can stay relaxed and in your zone.
