2025 Lake Mead Invitational
Please plan ahead for your race. We are racing at Veteran's memorial Park in Boulder City Nevada. You should be at the park at least 90 minutes before you race.

Course Description: The 5k course consists of grass, dirt, and asphalt on the grounds of
Veterans Memorial Park in Boulder City, NV
Awards: Medals to top 20 individuals in each race, large and small school scored separately
Team Champion and runner-up plaque in each Varsity High School race.
The Nevada Interscholastic Activities Association 2025 Classes 5A, 4A, 3A and 2A Southern Region boys and girls cross country meets are scheduled to be contested Friday, October 31 at Veterans Memorial Park in Boulder City.
LOCATION
Veterans’ Memorial Park is located at 1000 Airport Road in Boulder City. After entering the community of Boulder City (from Las Vegas), turn right on Buchanan (at second stoplight) and drive two miles down to the park (right side).
Note: Bus parking will only be permitted in the newly-paved area at the south entrance to the park. No bus parking will be permitted on the asphalt parking spaces around the park.
Note: No trimming of bushes and trees will be permitted. Teams/schools may NOT use stakes to fasten down tents or canopies. Please use weighted devices.

Team Fees
August 21st: Must be paid in order to compete. The team fee is $250. This does not cover the cost of the uniform.
Uniform
August 21st: Uniform is $65. The uniform is yours to keep forever. You only need to purchase a uniform if you are new to the team. Returning athletes are allowed to use their uniform from previous seasons.
Fundraisers
September 5th: Sponsorships and company information is due to Ms. P. Fundraisers can be used to cover team fees and out of town trips.
Online Fundraiser/Sponsorship
August 13 - September 23rd: A link will be sent to you via Remind that you can email or text to family and friends. The online fundraiser can be used to cover team fees and out of town trips.
Woodbridge/Disney Trip
(this trip is not for everyone)
September 16th: You will be able to pay $400 directly online or at the banking office with cash or credit card. Fundraisers can also be used to cover the cost of the trip.
Portland Trip
(this trip is not for everyone)
September 23rd: You will be able to pay $450 online or at the banking office with cash or card. Fundraisers can also be used to cover the cost of the trip.
Update: 8/13 is the cutoff date for new athletes. This deadline comes from the athletic is office. If you are not marked 100% complete in all sections, you will have to wait until track starts later in the year to participate with us. Please continue to read.
We already had tryouts on August 2nd and our first Invitational race is August 23rd. So your time is limited. The season is only 77 days long, and if you are coming out after August 2nd it is even shorter.
What do I need to do? Go to registermyathlete.com and submit all paperwork required there. We call it an RMA account. You can NOT come out to any type of practice unless you have a green check mark for all sections and your status is listed as "complete." Once you are marked green and complete, please reach out to us directly.
Will I be able to run all races once I get my RMA status marked as complete? Probably not. Cross country is the most physically demanding sport. We are trying to get you ready for a 3 mile race. We can not rush you into this, and it's hot out there. Just understand, if you are joining late you may not get to run any races depending on your physical level of activity. You would also still be required to pay the full amount of the team fee. We are not entering athletes in a 3 mile race if they can't run 2 miles without stopping.
When is the last possible day to get all of this done? Our cutoff date is August 13th.
What if I get my RMA completed after August 13th? It's too late. By this point we will have had both parent meetings, tryouts, selected teams, and handed out gear. Also there will only be 66 days left in the regular season. The benefit to getting your RMA done is that it is now ready for Track & Field. We will start those workouts sometime in late September/early October.

The team fee for 2025 will be $250. This will cover the cost of local invitationals, timing for our home meet, equipment, and the spirit pack. The spirit pack will include sweats and a t shirt.
The team fee will not cover the cost of out of state travel since not all athletes will be going to these meets.
The team fee will not cover the cost of your uniform. You may use your uniform from previous years if you already have one.
You will need the following forms for your RMA account to be marked complete. Print these out. The first document will help you with your RMA account. The second document is the physical form that you need to take to your physician so they can fill it out. The last two documents should be filled out completey and returned to us. Your best bet is to give them to Ms. P. She can turn them into the atheletic office for you.
