History: Southeast Tech (Southeast Career Technical Academy or SECTA) was originally the Southern Nevada Vocational Academy (VOTECH) established in the 1966-67 school year. SE Tech is the oldest career technical school in Las Vegas, and is the only CTE to offer sports.

Mission/Vision Statement: Southeast Career Technical Academy empowers students with the necessary tools to succeed in future education and professional career paths.

Important: Southeast Tech is unique in that students apply to our school and remain here by choice. Maintaining high standards and a good reputation in the community is key to the survival of the school site. Unique to this school is the need to recruit on a yearly basis, in which all staff are expected to participate.
