Specialized committees tend to include both elements of crises and general assemblies, and are basically everything else. They are smaller than GAs yet bigger than crises with around 20-60 delegates in each committee, but it depends on each conference as they all have different definitions and procedures for specialized committees. Regardless of the conference, these committees are more fast-paced and discuss one main issue rather than focus entirely on realtime simulation. There are two main types of specialized committees: organizations that work with the United Nations (such as the World Health Organization) or conventions/councils. Many times the latter will have more crisis elements than the former and give the delegates portfolio powers.
