by Nueva MUN Team
Our wiki comes in three different forms: a comprehensive manuscript, a collection of slides, and a series of videos. All of these are continually updated on a weekly basis. Please contact usmun@nuevaschool.org if any additional lessons or explanations would be helpful.
This is the foundation of the Nueva MUN wiki. In the spring of 2024, one of the club members decided to write an updated version of our archived wiki, which became known as wikiv2. Throughout the 2024-2025 school year, he later combined the archived wiki with wikiv2 and continued to add more articles, such as those relating to the unmoderated caucus section. At the end of that year, he published it in what is now known as the manuscript. This document was aimed to be extremely comprehensive so as to fully inform new delegates at all MUN clubs, especially those who may not have robust programs to learn MUN from. Although it is still being updated, it contains over 200 pages, with nearly 50,000 words.
In the summer of 2025, another of our team members came up with the vision for there to be slides to accompany the manuscript. To aid in the teaching of the information within the Wiki, the slides-based curriculum is designed to be used as either a stand-alone resource or in tandem with reading the Wiki itself. The slides are aimed at providing accessible and digestible descriptions of the most central aspects of MUN. The slides can be used to teach beginner and more seasoned delegates and include a description of what levels of experience the lesson suits on the title slide of each presentation. The slides also cover chair training tips for teams hoping to run simulations and/or organize their own conferences.
