4x recipient of the Research and Preparation Award of Distinction (2020-2021, 2022-2023, 2024-2025, 2025-2027) at the NHSMUN (National High School MUN Conference in New York). The Research and Preparation Award of Distinction is the highest level team research award that can be received at NHSMUN. Out of 350 schools, the Nueva Model United Nations team received this award for the entire team’s quality of research in each delegate’s research paper.
2x recipient of the overall Award of Excellence (2023-2024, 2025-2026) at NHSMUN. The Award of Excellence is the second-highest team performance award given out at NHSMUN. Out of 350 schools, the Nueva Model United Nations team received this award for each of our delegate’s performance during committee sessions.
2x recipient of the overall Award of Merit (2020-2021, 2024-2025) at NHSMUN. The Award of Merit is the second-highest team performance award given out at NHSMUN. Out of 350 schools, the Nueva Model United Nations team received this award for each of our delegate’s performance during committee sessions.
Numerous individual awards. Most recent ones from 2024-2025: 2x Best Delegate (ICJ, Brazilian Crisis) and 1x Honorable Mention (HPLF). Includes numerous rapporteurs: delegates hand-selected by chairs, present the outcomes of each committee to the entire conference, speaking for several minutes to thousands of delegates. Also attended North American Invitation in 2022, where we won 1x Best Delegate (UNHCR)
