LODGING

Millersylvania State Park at 12245 Tilley Rd SW
ADA accessible Lodging Off-Campus:
Evergreen State College has a limited number of ADA-accessible rooms, and they are all "single-occupancy". To be sure that you have suitable housing to meet your ADA needs, there are recommended hotels within 20 minutes drive of the college. Here is further information about nearby ADA-compliant hotels.
On-Campus Lodging:
Evergreen State College is offering two lodging choices:
Single Occupancy - In a room with one bed. These rooms share a community bathroom nearby on the same floor.
Double Occupancy - Each room has two beds. These rooms share a community bathroom with a second double occupancy room. The bathroom is between the two rooms.
The College does allow children under the age of 7 to sleep on the floor in a room with their parent or guardian. The family must bring a mat, cot or crib for the child and all bedding.
Only two guests age 7 or older are allowed to share a room. If this will present a hardship to your family, please let the Registrar know right away.
Friends may stay off-campus by choosing that option during registration.
For Friends staying in dorms, NPYM offers several lodging communities:
Families with Children
Young Adult Friends
Men Only
Women Only
All Genders (including Families without Children)
Friends of Color
LGBTQ+
Junior Friends
Please note (particularly if selecting "All Women" or "All Men" lodging) that NPYM has committed to the inclusion of Friends of all genders. This means that each Friend chooses for themselves the lodging community (and bathroom, etc) that they belong in, and we as a Yearly Meeting community work to support these choices.
Please also note that the "Friends of Color" lodging community is intended only for Friends of Color, and in some circumstances their family members.
MEALS
The cafeteria is located in the Campus Activities Building on the first floor.
If you are lodging on campus your registration will calculate a total meal cost, which will be included in your payment.
If you are lodged off campus you may purchase a full meal plan, or purchase meals directly in the cafeteria.
Simple Meal
We are offering a “simple meal”, as a way of expressing our solidarity with those who have no choice but eat simply, as well as to raise funds for the independent Quaker non-profit Right Sharing of World Resources. The meal is tentatively scheduled for Thursday lunchtime, and will take place in the Evans Event Hall, rather than in the dining hall, pending enough interest. The meal will be beans, rice and a green salad, with water to drink, and will be catered by the College food service; we expect each meal will raise at least $3 beyond the cost of catering. If you’re interested in taking part, please check the relevant item when selecting your meals during online registration.
