Young Adult Friends (YAFs) are Quakers ages 18-35-ish. This community is vital to the ushering in the evolution of Quakerism and for stewarding the transition between Junior Friends and the Quaker community at-large.
There used to be a YAF Committee within NPYM. However, COVID coupled with folks aging out led to the disbandment of this committee. In lieu of a committee, NPYM appointed its first YAF Coordinator at our 2025 Annual Session.

YAFs are encouraged to attend annual and quarterly meetings to connect with one another across NPYM. There are also local YAF communities in Olympia, Seattle, Tacoma, Portland, and Ashland. If you are interested in connecting with YAFs, you are invited to reach out to Meg Cody (friendly.megc@gmail.com) for more information.
