Admissions Testing

Many 4 year colleges require you to take the ACT and receive a certain score to gain admission to their college. There are certain dates that you will need to register if you need to take it. The counseling center recommends you take the ACT the SPRING of your Junior year and the FALL of your Senior year. The cost of the test is $63.00. Fee waivers are available in the counseling center for students on free or reduced lunch. Students usually do not take the ACT plus writing unless a certain college program requires it. Dual Credit Admission MAPS Testing - Northeast Community College

Students who register for dual credit math or English classes, qualifying test scores must be sent to NECC prior to registration. The quickest way to do that at this time would be through email. Email Connie Ingram (connieingram@npsne.org) and ask her to send these to NECC if those scores haven’t been sent previously. You can find the required test scores on this document. If you do not have the qualifying score, contact the testing center at NECC (testingcenter@northeast.edu or 402-844-7281 or 402-844-7708) to take the MAP test BEFORE the registration deadline.
