Newington Academies

NHS offers Career Academies in Finance and Business Management, Culinary and Hospitality, IT and Digital Creation, Medical Sciences and Aerospace and Engineering.  Students who participate in the Academy program commit to a set of requirements, including 2.5 credits of electives in their chosen Academy, attending a certain number of the learning experiences discussed on this page, and a minimum of 60 hours in an internship experience.  

Rachel Arnett is the Career Academy Counselor; students who participate in the Career Academies will be transferred to her school counseling caseload in the beginning of their Junior year.
