Les bizarre de bruits Watch this video. See how many objects your child can name in French.
Use english-french translator to learn one new word per day. While re-watching the video your child can recall the new vocabulary. Google has a neat feature to hear how words are pronounced.
I can write simple sentences in French using vocabulary that I know.
Turn to p.7 in the Beautés d'automne magazine.
Grade 1 & 2 - Look at the picture, write out sentences with the starting Je vois __________. (I see _____.)
Grade 3 - There are 10 funny things happening in this picture. Use words you know in French to tell your teacher what is happening. (For example: Le lapin lit un livre.)
On the site, choose a "Je peux" statement from level A1 to explore this week. Try to complete some of the suggested activities.

Grade 1 & 2 - Josée et les formes Watch the short video a few times during the week. Repetition is a great way for your child to review some of the vocabulary they know. Pause the video and have your child try to write the word they know. Have fun building a bird house using shapes with items around the house or with construction paper.
I can write a short French text, conversation or dialogue using words I know.
Grade 3 - L'autobus Watch the short video. What do you think the character is thinking? In French, write what you think the character is saying to you? Challenge yourself to create a dialogue or a conversation they might be having with you.
I can read a text in French. I can use words I know to write a short message.
Grade 3 - Beauté d'automne - Turn to page 15. Read the Bus Rules page. What rules do you think might be missing? If you don't take a school bus, think of the video you watched above to help with some ideas. In French, write the bus rules you think are missing.
