Classes are structured to teach you the approved Judo techniques from the Judo New Zealand curriculum. Progress is measured by different coloured belts to signify you have learned the necessary techniques and are able to perform them at the appropriate level. Click here to find out about the different grades and the syllabus for each level.
Changes to classes will be first announced on our facebook page so please regularly to make sure you are not missing out on any updates.
We train at the Woodleigh Sports Club
43 Fernleigh Street, Ferndale, New Plymouth 4310
We practice Judo in a uniform called a Judogi. The club has some Judogi available to borrow for the first three lessons if you don't have a Judogi of their own.
Once you become a member, you will be required to have your own Judogi. You can either purchase these from the club or purchase your own. Contact info@npajudo.org if you have any queries.
