Core Maths Level 3 is a fantastic course designed to enable as many  students to continue to develop their Mathematics problem solving skills during their Sixth Form studies.

The course is specifically designed to support the Maths needed within other technical A-Level courses like Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Psychology, Geography or Economics, without needing to take a full A-Level in Mathematics. If you are taking one of these subjects but not Mathematics A-Level you should be taking Core Maths too. And even if you're not, if your enjoy Maths at GCSE, you should make the most of your talent and continue your studies with Core Maths in the Sixth Form.

Core Maths is a Level 3 qualification that is equivalent to an AS Level (half an A-Level) and is studied over two years with half the number of lessons as your A-Level choices.
