Friday, March 20th: NO LIVE CLASS. Turn in the First Impressions doc via Google Classroom. Be sure to make a copy so you can continue any note taking on the original document.
Due: First Impressions doc via Google Classroom by Friday at 3 pm.
Over the next week, begin to research your topic. You will need to have read at least six independent sources on your topic by Friday, March 27th. For each source you read, you will need to create a citation. In a separate Google doc, keep a list of these citations. Eventually, you will need more than six. You do not have to use every single source in your paper, but you need to keep a running list of every source you did read just in case.
**In the end, you will have two documents:
1. The First Impressions/Personal Opinion and Thoughts Document. This will be turned in on Friday, March 20th.
2. Citations Document. This will be a compilation of your citations. For each source, type the title, the link, and the citation. Do this for every source you read, whether you use it or not in your paper. Share this with me on Thursday, March 26th.
Monday, March 23rd, 9:52 AM, LIVE CLASS: Check in with every one. Review citations.
Assignment: Read Grammar pgs. 307-312 and answer review questions on Google Classroom.
Due Tuesday at 9:55 am.
Tuesday, March 24th, NO LIVE CLASS: Google Classroom will launch a time question and answer. An incorrectly punctuated paragraph will be given. You must type on the response the entire paragraph with CORRECT punctuation. You will have a 30 minute window to do this. DO NOT BE LATE. This will be a quiz grade. (This is technically open note.) Question will launch at 9:52 am and will close at 10:22 am.
Wednesday, March 25th, NO LIVE CLASS: Continue to work on research and adding to your citations page.
Assignment: Copy your recitation down by hand. Take a picture and upload the picture to the Google Classroom portal.
***Note: If you download Google Classroom to your phone, this is much easier to do.
Due Thursday at 9:55 am. (This is NOT "Wednesday Homework." This is school work. It is still due Thursday.)
Thursday, March 26th: NO LIVE CLASS. SHARE your citations document with me. This will be a homework grade. Do not turn it in via Google Classroom, as you will need to continue working on this.

Friday, March 27th, 9:52 am, Live Class: We will go over what you have collected so far, first impressions, etc. We will also discuss plans for the following week depending on social distancing requirements. If you have any questions about assignments, etc, we can go over them at this time as well.
Monday, March 30th, 9:52 am, Live Class: We will go your highlighted notes and convert the highlighted portions into Notecards via Google Slides for any sources you do want to use in your paper.
